There's nothing weird or odd about that case. The Ramseys woke up in the morning, realizing their daughter was "missing." So the Ramseys naturally figured the best possible idea was to immediately call and invite lots of their neighbors over to their house. Then after their neighbors all gathered in one room of their house, Mr. Ramsey said that he and a friend/neighbor decided to look around the Ramsey's house for his "missing daughter." And what do you know, Mr. Ramsey and his friend/neighbor "found" his "missing daughter's" dead body in the basement. So of course, Mr. Ramsey picked up his "missing daughter's" body (she had been killed with a garrote) and carried her upstairs and then laid her down in middle of the room where all his neighbors had already gathered and were sitting down. Then after all of that totally normal stuff happened, the Ramseys finally decided that maybe they should call the police. So do you think the Ramseys contaminated the crime scene in any way before the Ramseys even called the police?

Yeah, that was the totally normal thing to do. Also the "real killer" (who they still haven't "found") wrote a really, really long "ransom letter" with all kinds of details about Mr. Ramsey's company bonus and many other details of the Ramsey family's life. Which begs the question: Why would the "real killer" (who they still haven't "found") break into the Ramseys' house (while all of the Ramsey family was out attending a friend's Christmas party), hide in the Ramseys' house (risking getting caught by the Ramsey family when they returned from the party), and when the Ramsey family returned from the party the "real killer" walked up to the daughter's bedroom, brought her down to the basement, and then killed her with a garrote, and then wrote an extremely long ransom note containing lots of details about the Ramsey family's life, and then leave the ransom note in the Ramseys' kitchen, and then leave the house without ever being detected by anyone.

If none of that makes any sense to you, then maybe you have some idea of the last name of the "real killer(s)."

My gosh, if she were just a nobody little girl in the ghetto, the case would never see the light of day again.

It sickens me the way people carry on because of her looks or who her family was. She has no more, nor less, value as a human being as any other person on the planet.

I was there on an overnight the day after and the coverage was absolutely traumatizing. That little girl suffered horrifically.

Even today, I cannot bear to see the large candy canes lining a sidewalk like the Ramsey house had.

I wonder who with influence prodded them to finally embrace a 3rd party investigation (as the article asserts).

ZERO police agencies appreciate anyone reviewing their cases for mistakes (which is what this amounts to).

Savvy investigators can appreciate that when the art of deduction hits a brick wall, an outside set of eyes frequently breaks the stalemate. But no agency collectively embraces such practice.

I don’t envy cold case investigators, but the concept has always intrigued me.

The brother did it.

I have believed that for a long time.   It's the only thing that fits.

Did Burke Ramsey Really Kill His Sister? Where Is He Now?
For instance, a 911 conversation later suggested they heard John saying, ‘We’re not speaking to you.’ The tone apparently was for a kid (speculatively for Burke). Further call record showed Patsy exclaiming, “What did you do? Help me, Jesus!”

Investigators Concluded Burke Killed His Sister Because She Took His Snacks

Also, the FBI team claimed when JonBenet tried to take some of the fruit snacks (pineapple) from her brother, then 9-year-old Burke lost it and forcefully struck his sister with a torch. Several media afterward theorized that in the ensuing panic, Ramsey strangled his own sister to death.

Apparently, the autopsy also revealed that there were pieces of undigested pineapple in JonBenet’s system.

The research team subsequently suspected Burke Ramsey accidentally killed his sister. Then after finding out, his parents Patsy and John tried to cover up the murder in order to protect their son.

Burke Ramsey Sued Those Who Accused Him Of The Killing His Sister

Investigators reported the deceased’s brother was jealous of her beauty queen title and had even smeared poo on her Christmas presents. They argued Burke had always been quick to anger even before his sister’s death. As such, during a game of golf with his sister, the older brother lost his temper and hit her in the head with a golf club, leaving a scar on her head.

I agree. It again proves the U.S. is even far more racist today than it ever was hundreds of years ago during slavery times. (BTW, slavery still exists today in some parts of the world.) The U.S. shouldn't even exist today because it's such an extremely sexist, homophobic, racist, and xenophobic country. Literally no foreigners want to come to the U.S. That's why senile Sleepy Joe's handlers want totally open borders -- because nobody wants to come to the extremely xenophobic, racist, homophobic, sexist U.S in the first place. You make a great point.

Saw an interview with the father. He said that there had never been any DNA testing in the case. Might come up with something through DNA.

My guess is the brother or mother did it. Possibly the brother because of what others on this forum thread have already said. Or possibly the mother who may have been upset with the daughter that night about something (her mother put her daughter in lots of child beauty pageants, so maybe they argued about something related to that?) and did something that might have accidentally caused her death. I don't think the father had anything to do with her death. I also think it's possible the father or both parents tried to cover up the death with the extremely long obviously fake "ransom" letter, the garrote situation in the basement, picking up his daughter's dead body, bringing her upstairs and laying her body in the middle of a room (where many of the Ramseys' neighbors were already gathered and sitting down), then (finally!) calling the police after all of the above had already occurred, etc.

Thus, it seems irrational to think the "real killer(s)" were outside the family.

why do you believe this to be so?

The demand letter with an amount equal to the father's recent bonus. That's someone very close to the family who somehow picked up that information, but also someone kind of clueless about finances, as though that bonus was spare resources - a person who lives paycheck to paycheck unaware that bonus compensation is just a form of deferred salary and not some kind of windfall. Ramsey was obviously wealthy and the amount of that bonus was kind of irrelevant to the amount he coudl raise to pay a ransom. There are numerous accounts of the maid's financial troubles and her prior requests to borrow funds from the Ramseys.

Darlington School of course.   Do you really think he would graduate from Yale and deign to teach common riff-raff?

East Rome and West Rome High schools were combined to form Rome High School in 1992 so it couldn't be either one of those.

DeSantis was a full time teacher of History, Government and Coached Sports.
