Let me guess: Avoid Dating Apps?
At the very least, avoid hookup apps like Tinder.
My son found his wife on a dating app.
He was honest. “Conservative Christian male seeks conservative Christian female for committed relationship leading to marriage.” The Trump flag was prominently displayed on the wall behind his picture.
He was on for a week when she found him on election night, 2020. They spent hours talking.
He proposed on May 8, 2022. They were married October 15th. Good thing, too. They had both swore to stay virgins until marriage. Didn’t think they could hold out much longer.
Aside from being politically and spiritually aligned, she loves that he is a tall, muscular man who knows how to cook, fix things, hunt things, shoot things, plays several instruments, sings, and is a college grad who can speak 4 languages. He loves that she is a petite and very feminine girl who can also cook, fix things, shoot things, nurture things, create things, plays an instrument, has the voice of an angel, and has a career.
Perfect fit.
I thought they were too young (both 22), but they are doing just fine.
