Aging "Rolling Stone" magazine is still permanently stuck in adolescence, worshiping at the altar of Leftist pop culture. Nothing is sadder than aging hippies who have run out of creative steam. They are the very definition of the word pathetic. Dragging up an unknown family member of their nemesis from 40 years ago reeks desperation.

And even with Flynt, Falwell reaching out testimony and forgiveness. They exchanged Christmas cards. After Jerry died, Flynt wrote a tribute to him and said that somehow, unexpectedly, Falwell became his friend.
I was in the religious media and saw Jerry Falwell Sr. in person back in the 1980’s saw nothing dirty going on IMHO.
His father was an alcoholic and yeah if Jerry had an ability to get angry about issues of the day I guess that got passed along.
Jerry Sr. could apologize if he got too angry or said something wrong.
But sexually I don’t recall anything like that.
