It wasn’t until Dave Coulier listened to the entirety of ex Alanis Morissette’s album “Jagged Little Pill” in 1995 that he realized he may have “really hurt” the singer.

On Tuesday’s episode of SiriusXM Faction Talk, the “Full House” star says he was driving in Detroit when he first heard Morissette’s vengeful heartbreak classic “You Oughta Know” — which has long been rumored to be about him — on the radio.

The comedian, now 62, was really enjoying the song before he recognized the singer’s famous voice and thought to himself, “Ooh, oh no! Oh, I can’t be this guy!”

The whole album is good. I especially like “Isn’t It Ironic”. Check out the funny/fun video -

He was 33 and she was 18.

The album made her a star. Very edgy and angry. Great tunes all throughout the album.

At this point, it’s olds. Almost classics.

Very meta song.

Isn’t it ironic that “Isn’t it ironic” has no examples of irony. It’s almost as frustrating as Star Trek: The Next Generation, whose mission to “boldly go where no one has gone before” never went anywhere that wasn’t already horribly infested with diplomats and NGOs.

I used to think they changed it from “where no man has gone before” to use sexually inclusive language. Turns out that they meant “where no red-blooded man has gone before.”

OK, I digressed completely.

The terrible part is you can’t help think of Dave Coulier being the dork from Full House when she sings “down on you in a theater.” I can’t help thinking it was the Little Mermaid or something like that. HOW RUDE!

I really like that album too, and I want to give due credit to whomever wrote it, because it’s really good material and the stuff is catchy. However, Alanis’ voice sounds like a high pitched crow if it could phrase syllables longer than a caw.

She was such a big deal in the 90s she literally played God in Kevin Smith’s Dogma.

From the lyrics and the way she sung that song, I’d say she was a psycho that he’s better off without. But - what do I know?
