Used to be that girls would take home economics in high school and learn how to cook on a budget. Those skills are mostly lost because the feminists decided that those type of courses "demeaned" women and was sexist.
Somehow it was never decided that it was sexist to have men handle the yard chores, take out the trash and kill bugs.

Maybe he should make a meal for both of them... Shrimp Scampi or broiled scallops, or grilled salmon. Perhaps an amazing manicotti or lazagne. Home made pizza. Etc. You can’t tell her... you have to show her.
After a few months, unless she is brain dead, she’ll be making the move away from ramen.
And, if she is still brain dead, back to divorce court.
