I don’t want to sound pessimistic….
It’s already been 3 months. That’s very encouraging for survival. Most such burn cases die from infection and other complications within a month. Scarring and disfigurement will likely still result, but apparently his face was spared.
And there’s ALWAYS more to the story than a single “news” article tells. Something about this biker being part of a group that had pointed a gun at and harrassed other drivers. And two deputies also received burns. Wasn’t just a Lone Ranger deputy involved.
So wait for details before passing judgment.
