Vijaya Gadde, the 48-year-old chief legal officer and general counsel of Twitter, called a virtual meeting with the policy and legal teams she oversees on Monday
Gadde wanted to update her team on the implications of Elon Musk's $44 billion takeover of the company, and ended up breaking down in tears, Politico said
Gadde 'expressed concerns about how the company could change,' Politico reported, under Musk's leadership, in which free speech is championed
Having joined Twitter in 2011, she has been central in crafting the company's positions on banning hate speech versus allowing free debate
Gadde was instrumental in the decision to ban Donald Trump from the platform in January 2020 on charges of inciting violence
Musk has not commented on reinstating the former president's account and his 89m followers; Trump said on Monday he will not rejoin, but few believe him
Conservative commentator Saagar Enjeti called her Twitter's 'top censorship advocate' and noted her key role in banning reports on Hunter Biden's laptop
Musk replied: 'Suspending the Twitter account of a major news organization for publishing a truthful story was obviously incredibly inappropriate'

“The lamentations of their crybullies.”
Yeah crybaby works. Can’t say “women” cause I’m not a biologist but may they lament.
She should be in prison for Treason against the President of the United States. Or deported back to India.
India was a key member of what was called The “nonaligned Movement” engineered by Nehru, among others. Basically it was a group of nations playing both sides against the middle during the Cold War. They were never seriously interested in communism but were very interested in what they could glean from each side in exchange for gestures of preferential posture.
It was a lucrative strategy but in the end it set India back a generation due to infighting and corruption. Now, with rising Hindu nationalism, India is doing something similar, but on their own in pursuing their perceived national interest.
I’m not ready to proclaim Musk as the savior of liberty, I don’t know his motivations. His shake up of the status quo in an online media that has so practiced censorship so heavily biased toward the benefit of the left is a breath of fresh air though. Sometimes it takes someone like Musk with f*ck you money to accomplish things normal people can’t. Hopefully his reigning in of censorship at Twitter will start a landslide across other media outlets by putting a target on them if they continue to abuse their positions like they have over the last decade or so. It’s significant that Musk targeted Twitter instead of old media companies like CNN that have been equally guilty of suppressing free speech. It says that Musk believes online media is now more influential than the old guard media.
Her name is slang for Ladies Body Parts.....I’d cry too!!
Nehru was a hardcore communist...

Liberal tears are delicious.
The far left. How appropriate.
