Do you expect Her to be all smiles and playing with a pink unicorn while stuck in the middle of political bullshit ?
She’s concerned about Her Family, not making the cover shot for the Eastern Block version of Good Flatkeeping or what you and others think about Her Kitchen appliances. For all we know that might have been the top of the line in Her budget when purchased. She might have upgraded from a single hot plate with frayed wires or maybe even a coal or oil fired stove.
I’m guessing that is a typical Ukraine kitchen from other photos I’ve seen.
