De-escalation is often the best way to handle a volatile situation. It looks like this cop doesn’t quite understand that.

I don’t know what to make of this situation. I suspect the officer was caught by surprise when the other officer grabbed by the belt and started pulling him backwards. I sort of took what he did as a way of saying “what the hell are you doing?“. This is the type of crap that police have to put up with.
