‘only open to an actor who is ‘Asian, black, African descent, ethnically ambiguous, multiracial, Indigenous peoples, Latino, Hispanic, Middle Eastern, South Asian, Indian, Southeast Asian or Pacific Islander’
I am all of those, and a blind albino dwarf, to boot!

Wish there was a way to sell
them short, this is a financial no brainer.

that role is only open to an actor who is ‘...Indigenous peoples, .... Does that include Europeans from Europe? They're pretty indigenous.

With poly-juice it can be done.

OK, a Greek, ‘cause they’re dark skinned, or a Basque, because their language pre-dates Indo-European languages and is impossibly hard to learn. Or a Hungarian for the same reason.

There’s more than one reason I don’t do Netflix or Amazon.
They are constantly soiling everything from a black Hamilton to a black Orphan Annie to homosexual super heroes. They aren’t creative enough to have their own stories and characters.

This sounds like it is one step up from fan fiction.

Often when film makers buy the rights to a book, once they have it they will toss the story and keep the title or completely change both.
I’ve read many original novels that were nothing like the movies made later, yet the titles say “Based on the novel by so and so.”

Hogwarts’ pan-sexual graduation orgy in the new version should be a real crowd pleaser!

However, the producers could be sued by JK Rowling if they use her characters
I'm guessing some production company already owns the rights. If I were Rowling, however, I would just laugh and say "I've already got your money, losers!"

“woke” just means fully invested in the progressive (aka global communist) social agenda (i.e. gay, trans, diversity, white people bad, etc.)

More like a few steps down from fan fiction.

I would think Rowling has control of her creation. Looks like this will be in court to me.

Gotta look at the contract with Warner Bros. Good question.
