When I first read Nostradamus, I was reading a book by a Brit scholar, who was actually excellent. But she missed some stuff because it happened here.
1. The storming of the gates of San Quentin. She could only reference the town in France, which has no gates. But of course there was a prison break at our San Quentin, the prison.
2. She told of the royal child supposedly mortally wounded at tennis, but said there was no such royal child this had happened to. She hadn’t read her American history and found that this happened to Calvin Coolidge’s son.
There are other ones that are pretty amazing. I’d have to reread to find them now.
