For those who talk about Sarai in the bible and so on: IVF and a lot of fertility procedures - almost all of them - involve consent to abortion “if and when it becomes necessary.” Now I doubt this story, but just say the gal did conceive by IVF. With this, multiple embryos are created. Typically, later on the doctor does studies and if there are “too many” implanted embryos, or if the mom only wants one baby, they selectively abort the others. No! Really!
I don’t know about your state, but they are really pimping “fertility treatment” here in CO and I applied to work at a clinic some while ago because business is booming, no pun intended. (Well, maybe a little.) Old gals wanting to have kids. Haha, sure, why not? Anybody got $45,000 - $65,000?
So then someone said “Yeah you have to be okay with abortion” - it was after I applied and I don’t remember being asked at the initial job interview. I didn’t get the job so I didn’t have any sort of ethical struggle. Glad someone told me about it.
