Distractions all. Hate crimes are a myth—ALL CRIMES ARE HATE CRIMES. When they pick on groups you dislike—its not a hate crime. Its not illegal to punch a Nazi said the Antifa — And they get to pick who is a Nazi!
Agreed. If someone strikes me I do not care why he did it. It is assault and battery in any case; and this is what should be punished. "Hate crimes" in essence criminalize thought, but only that against politically privileged groups.
