Growing up and going to college in the deepest of the Deep South, I think I heard the "N-word" *maybe* 15 times in total, and I never saw any evidence of the KKK (although I did hear they had a presence in Mississippi).

None of this happened in CA. Just more lib lies.

Same here Duke....Mississippi raised....I saw the klan twice....late 70s they had a resurgence from the Greensboro NC battle over the lefties and black nationalists......once in Tupelo and once in Oxford picture here....they had traveled from Indiana so we heard...that is me in red plaid on left of square...we were there to ostensibly protest the klan......that is late 70s......one other time I was 24 and bedding a 33 year old blonde in Beaumont Texas who was separated from her husband....she asked me to fetch her robe from the closet one night and lo and behold it was laden with an auto ordnance Thompson and klan robes....she was terrified of him and he’d been abusive...the later version klan was scorned by whites down here I hate to break it to folks ...the reconstruction klan was not..

The lady in Beaumont I actually met on the fly....at the palace cow palace club ...on 287 north of town....she was fine as frogs hair and my buddies dared me to approach her....I got her number ....she had a big house...I was leery myself I can’t lie....separated or not...I was banging his wife...and klan guys are like hells angels...they do shoot.....about a three weeks affair
