Dominion Voting Systems said on Thursday it had asked Facebook and other social media platforms to preserve posts and data from several conservative-leaning networks including Fox News as it pursues defamation claims that it rigged the 2020 presidential election.
Lawyers for Dominion’s parent company sent letters to Facebook, YouTube, Parler and Twitter stating that the posts and data from Fox, Newsmax, One America News Network (OANN), former President Donald Trump and others are relevant to Dominion’s pending and forthcoming claims.
Last month, Dominion filed defamation lawsuits against Trump’s lawyer Rudolph Giuliani and his former lawyer Sidney Powell. The company has stated that more lawsuits will follow.
It has previously warned the networks and others mentioned in Thursday’s letters that defamation litigation against them is “imminent,” according to Dominion. …

Discovery.
That’s why they are bluffing, they haven’t filed.
Yeah Dominion, just turn over your source code from all of your machines and we’ll talk. Otherwise, STFU!
Dominion Voting Systems has the backing of the Democrats and unlimited taxpayer funds
If they haven’t filed, where do they get off demanding anybody do anything?
This is a PR stunt by Dominion. They are trying to save their brand. Either pull the trigger and file the lawsuit or they should shut their proverbial pie hole.
I suspect they will drop this once discovery starts. I am re-watching the Mike Lindell piece on OAN now.
I am too, they do not want this coming out in court.
Dominion’s parent company is starting to feel the heat now a risk of all the evidence about to surface even some on the left have seen how the results were rigged.
The fear of Biden in office has raised many eyebrows.
So dominion apparently, allegedly gets to purge incrimiting evidence fro their machines, but fox can’t return the favor?
Have they proven any Damages?
People claim all the time that GM and Ford Transmissions are crap. Have any of them been Sued?
So file the suit. Let the truth be heard. Let the depos begin.
Agreed this is a scare tactic they know they’re screwed once discovery gets issued
They're going to have to prove that the defendants were acting with malice or with recklessness.
I can't see a fair jury allowing that.
Bring it on...
I’ve been noticing that Dominion has had these “BOOM” announcements of impending lawsuits for weeks, but have yet to do anything. You’re right PD, this is all a show, threatening action by the cheaters themselves. They know they will HAVE TO show the code to prove their innocence. And one would think that the FEC, a federal agency whose mission is, and I quote “The FEC was created to promote confidence and participation in the democratic process”, would be interested in the integrity of the machines used to count votes in a federal election. I assume, though, that they’re just like most of the other federal agencies in their allegiance to fraud, corruption, lawlessness, and fear driven intimidation.
You mean to tell me that the company that claims their machines are accurate and fraud-proof didn’t bother to start collecting source material from news agencies/social media from November 4th on, the minute that fraud on their machines was claimed? Who the hell’s running that shit-show?
Both Smartomatic and Dominion are going to get spanked hard if they are not careful.
OAN - Absolute Truth
Watch it.
“AHEAD OF” lawsuits...
In other words they have not filed the suit yet, but they still want to force them to have to spend money to ‘store’ data. Force your opponent to spend $$$.
All the benefits of a lawsuit without filing one!
They should immediately counter-request WITH ACTUAL LAWSUIT to preserve all Dominion data.
My only fear there is that they will say “Aha- if you don’t ALREADY HAVE Evidence then why did you smear us on TV?”
