Feral / "bad" dogs are underrated by most people as a threat IMO, both out in the country and in the city.

From here straight through as the crow flies, a farm family had a dozen or so dogs that ran loose.
They were really vicious and regulars like the mail man, the sheriff’s department, etc., knew to stay out of reach.
A Mexican who lived nearby walked past the house and they killed him.
That happened about three years ago.
Those dogs were so bad that they bit the tires on the deputy’s car. Tire went flat.
Now my first dog was a German Shepard in 1938 and I have had dogs ever since..pets, hunting dogs, whatever, but I never had one bad enough to destroy a tire mounted on a vehicle.
It just proves that there are surprises in this world for the unwary.
