CO2 is only the third strongest greenhouse gas on the planet although it is supposed to be the second most abundant.

Methane is much stronger, coming in at #2 and so far is believed to be less abundant than CO2.

Abundant is kind of an ironic word to describe a trace gas that is only 0.04% of the atmosphere and only 4% of all so-called Greenhouse Gases.
