Snarky comments aside, this situation is further proof that money and leisure do not bring happiness.

Most working people are jealous of those who are born into wealth and never had to work a day in their lives.

Don't be.

Many of those people are the most unhappiest of all.

After 30+ years of hard work climbing the corporate ladder from entry-level manual laborer to the executive ranks, I am extremely happy and positive. I recently purchased a home for mostly cash, my cars are paid off, my children are successfully raised (and on their own), my retirement is funded (and I still have 10 prime years left to work if I desire) and so I have an immense sense of personal achievement.

Nearly all people that are born into wealth will never know the level of achievement and happiness that I have obtained.

Regardless of what income bracket one is in, good times or bad times, we never know what life will throw us and we never know when it will all end.

We all — Meghan and Harry included — need Jesus. And to get right with God.

I know the Church of England gets a bad rap, but this is a step in the right direction:

Nearly all people that are born into wealth will never know the level of achievement and happiness that I have obtained [by working for it].
The poor man must work to find food for his stomach;
the rich man must work to find stomach for his food.
