I think it should be pointed out that Kate was bullied by the press & public for years, but didn’t go on camera with her fake crocodile tears. She pulled her socks up, created her own image the public could be proud of and got on with it. I suggest Markle does the same.
But, really, this is ridiculous. Motherhood has been hard for her?
She could have said, "Even with all the advantages I have, there are sleepless nights, worry, hope, joy... I am in awe of the mothers who manage with keeping a house and job and juggling all their other responsibilities... etc etc" She would have been universally lauded.
Instead, "No one asks how I'm doing?"

I will admit that I didn’t read the article. At first glance the title sounded like this is the first step to disengage them from royal duties. Tax payer funded trips are probably cutoff, pr support is probably limited. At some points the royal income could go away if they don’t learn their lesson.

In truth, there was shouting whatever the phrase to start parliament. Has something to do with the Black Rod who carries the Mace.
The Mace is the thing that got everyone so upset when some yahoo in parliament grabbed it.

Off with her PR firm and her cell phone. And her royal allowance. And her public appearances. And her title.
Honestly, the woman had to know what the job entailed when she took it.
As in any life, I'm sure there are ups and downs. Her "ups" are higher than most, and her "downs" are also higher than most.
I believe Diana had very real mental health issues. She played the woe is me card and it worked. Of course, she also was treated poorly by Charles.
Meghan is going to do that but, in addition, she is stoking the racial component.
This is a landmine PR field that the Queen will have to navigate.
