Want to go home a LOSER after the 2020 election? Then throw in with the Left, with the very Deep State that is trying to kill your Presidency. Otherwise, try sticking with your promises to your voters, and your oath to “preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States.”

Yeah that is the most ignorant statement ever. You go in on gun registration, and we’ll vote for the left by staying at home so they can completely take away the 2nd Amendment! Yeah that’ll show you...as they are rounding up my family, putting us in boxcars and leading us to the showers!

“Yeah that is the most ignorant statement ever. “

No, not ignorant. Informed by History itself.

First, if registration is put in place, we are finished. This has been proven in many other nations that implemented registration, even if in an effort to disarm extremists. It simply won’t matter whether Trump wins in 2020, or even if Pence (or some other Republican) wins in 2024 and 2028. Some time in the future, you WILL have a Dem in the WH, and a Dem-controlled House and Senate. Then, as sure as the sun rising in the East every day, you WILL have a confiscation order. Oh, it’ll be couched as a “buyback,” and there’ll be an amnesty period. Perhaps even an actual amnesty or 2 down the line, but at some point people will be jailed (or murdered on raids) for failing to turn in firearms that the registration system says that they own.

My whole point in saying that I won’t vote for someone who will compromise my rights (and those of everyone else in society) is to convince him and his advisors NOT TO DO THIS. By voting for someone who diminishes your rights, just because the other side is worse, you are guaranteeing that you will someday no longer have those rights, whatever they may be. In this case, it is the most vital of rights - that which enables any person to defend themselves, their family, their nation and their liberties.

You do see, don’t you, how the other side (and even many supposedly on OUR side) have complete contempt for us (deplorables), and how they run roughshod over our rights, how they ignore our plain wishes - and this with 500 million firearms in the hands of the public? Well, given that, how exactly do you think that these people will treat us once there are few or none in public hands? Do you think that they will be more tolerant, kinder, less likely to force their policies down our throats?

Oh, and if you think that “taking away all of the guns” is a distopian fantasy, let me just tell you that my family has direct experience with that over the last 100 years. My paternal grandfather’s father, who lived in what is now Ukraine, had everything he owned except his home taken away by the Communists in the early 1920s. Then, in 1936 and 1937, this man in his 70s who was suffering from cancer had the gall to rent out 3/4 of his home to 3 other families in order to have money to put food on the table - money that he was then unable to earn. So the NKVD dragged him to jail and beat him mercilessly on several occasions - the last one of which was so severe that it killed him. Five years later, over 100 of my extended family in Poland were murdered by German Leftists (AKA Nazis). None of them had guns - because the government had a list of everyone who previously did have guns, and took them away from everyone who wasn’t a Party member.

Confiscation is impossible without the prerequisite of registration. That is what I am fighting against, but any and all means.

THIS is the Rubicon for our Republic - either we stop registration in its tracks, or the death of our Republic (and many millions of your fellow citizens) will inevitably follow. Threatening a politician with not voting for him if he puts us on that path - however unwittingly or unintentionally - is the height of rationality.

“And how we burned in the camps later, thinking: What would things have been like if every Security operative, when he went out at night to make an arrest, had been uncertain whether he would return alive and had to say good-bye to his family? Or if, during periods of mass arrests, as for example in Leningrad, when they arrested a quarter of the entire city, people had not simply sat there in their lairs, paling with terror at every bang of the downstairs door and at every step on the staircase, but had understood they had nothing left to lose and had boldly set up in the downstairs hall an ambush of half a dozen people with axes, hammers, pokers, or whatever else was at hand?... The Organs would very quickly have suffered a shortage of officers and transport and, notwithstanding all of Stalin’s thirst, the cursed machine would have ground to a halt! If...if...We didn’t love freedom enough. And even more – we had no awareness of the real situation.... We purely and simply deserved everything that happened afterward.”

-Alexander Solzhenitsyn

Let’s have a world in which no Americans are put in camps for their political views or for owning what every previous generation of Americans owned. The only way to stop that from happening is to ACTUALLY stop it - and defeating the “universal background check” and “red flag” laws is critical to success in this endeavor.
