I have no doubt Ivanka is trying to help her father but she has scant understanding about his base because she and Jared travel in the social circles wherein “universal background checks and banning of assault weapons seem reasonable.

It’s a crying shame her father didn’t take her to a shooting range during her teenage years. She likely would have had a wholly different outlook.
