Democratic lawmakers are condemning President Trump's attacks against House Oversight and Reform Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-Md.), calling his Saturday morning remarks "racist" and beneath the office of the presidency.
Trump accused the longtime congressman of being a “brutal bully” and sought to cast Cummings's district — which includes part of Baltimore — as “dangerous” and “disgusting,” claiming that the Maryland city was "corrupt" and that "no human being would want to live there."
Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) denounced Trump's "racist attacks" against Cummings, praising the representative as a "champion in the Congress and the country for civil rights and economic justice."

I just love it when Trump says things that are “”racist” and beneath the office of the presidency” - by Rats standards.
He’s black. Therefore he’s a civil rights champion.

And "civil rights"? "Life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" are civil rights. Murdered Negroes, killed by other Negroes, in Cummings's district doesn't sound like a recipe for "civil rights". The white man isn't in there killing anybody.

What I should have said is “He’s black AND A DEMOCRAT. Therefore he’s a civil rights champion”.
When a Dem condemns an Angel gets it’s wings.

They sure are words of a patriot. A patriot President who cares about the dangerous living conditions of a corrupt to the core city that has forgotten it’s people.
