Canadian national Robert Lloyd Schellenberg, was convicted of trying to smuggle about 222kg of methamphetamine from China to Australia. He had been initially sentenced, two months ago, to 15 years in jail. He appealed the sentence at the Liaoning High Peoples Court, which concluded that the initial sentence was too light. A retrial in a lower court has (now) put him on death row.

222 kilograms of meth? That's a 1/4 of a ton! He appeals 15 years and gets death? I'm trying but it's a bit hard to feel sorry for this turd.
I weigh 160

Moron idiot
Ice has been devastating Hawaii since the 80s

Trudeau obviously doesn't understand the fundamentals of Communism.
How many humans can 500 pounds of meth kill? Seems fair enough.
Meth is easy to make if you have the proper chemicals that are commercially available. The synthesis is a bit more complex if one uses chemicals that are not monitored for the drug trade. If one goes from basic chemistry synthesis these chemicals are not monitored closely.
He chose poorly. He should have been a chemist. He will die. That is good.
cpdiii pharmacist and I know a lot about chemistry.
Shoot an ICBM at them.
On my first trip to SE Asia (Singapore to be exact) I was stunned to see on the landing card and in the Arrival Hall the words "Death Penalty For Drug Offenses In Singapore".I almost soiled my underwear...and I don't even get involved in that stuff.I almost decided to toss my blood pressure meds in the "amnesty bin" they had in the Arrival Hall...just in case.
The guy had drug-related criminal records already.
Given that we're talking about a Chinese case here I'd want to know *where* he was convicted of these things.IMO Chinese courts aren't bastions of true justice.
Let him swing.
Again...Chinese court....so who knows if he's truly guilty.But if,by chance,he is then I agree 100%.
I hope the lawyer got a hefty retainer!
I believe you can trust the system not to waste resources on framing an ‘innocent’ dealer. I think they wrote he was actually convicted in Canada before.
I don’t believe it.
Shaves his eyebrows daily but uses fakes for daytime.
I’m sure that the bastards at the U.S. DOJ are very jealous of their Chinese counterparts and wish they could do the same or more here.
However, given that it's Chinese courts we're talking about and given that China's been trying to bully Canada recently it seems distinctly possible that Canadians have a legitimate reason to protest.
