I’ve already “won”. I have not noticed a single damn thing different in my life with the shutdown, and am beginning to appreciate how little I need government.
If the president eventually signs a bill that does not appropriate the border security that he has requested (e.g., goes another route for this) then make sure that that bill does not contain elements that the leftists want that also contribute to the national debt. On principle alone.
