You are being deliberately obtuse because no one saying an NDA is a campaign contribution. An NDA is an NDA. Trump can make unlimited contributions, but expenditures then have to be reported, and they weren’t. Trump knew about the payments, we have the audio recordings, so if Cohen made them illegally they can rope Trump in for it as well. Anyway, whatever, it sucks for Trump, it was the Lawyers fault.
