If youve spent time on the Trump-supporting parts of social media, youve probably come across a strange meme in the past couple of years. MAGA-loving Twitter is constantly offering people free helicopter rides. But what does it mean?
The offer of free helicopter rides is a reference to the practice of killing people by dropping them from helicopters, made most famous by Chilean dictator Augusto Pinochet in the 1970s. Sometimes Pinochets death flights were conducted over the ocean, but they were also done over rivers and sometimes the land. Hundreds of political dissidents are still unaccounted for from the Pinochet era, but a conservative government estimate from 2001 puts the number of people killed in Chile by being thrown from helicopters at 120.
Despite its disgusting connotations, free helicopter rides has become quite a meme online for people who support President Trump and his neo-fascist policies. There are entire Facebook pages devoted to Pinochets Free Helicopter Rides, and even websites that sell t-shirts and other gear with the phrase.

OH BULLS#!T. Most of my 300 FB friends are Conservatives and I’m on all sorts of RW pages and I’ve never seen one reference to helicopter rides. This guy is lying or someone made it up to try to pin bad words on us.
Offense is the best defense, right? The mob doesn’t like the truth being told about them. Projecting what they do do. Or trying to project. Not too many buying it anymore except for the idiots who know it’s all damned lies but refuse to admit it.
Military black humor is my favorite, but it freaks out the weak tits...
My prediction is the start of “evidence “ of the violent nature of Trump supporters. In a short period of time this article will be cited when the left in unison is decrying us. Have never heard this before but now it will be “widespread “.
All good when the proglibs do it.

Author obviously closeted in mom’s basement... without youtube privileges. Clearly spelled out with graphics of Pinochet, helicopter silhouette and flying commies labeled as such on Proud Boys shirts as they stand against antifa thugs. Vids all over the place.
Beck reference?
that's just one design, there are many others...do search on "Pinochet free Helicopter Rides"
Its kinda funny that the author knows his readers will not understand a history-based joke. Theyre more of a poop-based joke crowd.
On the plus side, Pinochet did bring his country back into economic viability and did get rid of a lot of commies. Then ultimately turned the country back over to elections.
I confess I use this meme, but I mostly do so in the messier corners of the web.
It’s really an excellent meme, it expresses a lot of truth in a very compact package.
First, it is targeted specifically at Communists, which makes it hilarious when today’s Leftists take it personal - they know, whether they admit or not, that they are in actual fact Communists and nothing less.
Second, it expresses the frustration in dealing with these people who act in relentless bad faith, and employ slander as a primary means of debate. There really is no talking to such people. Throwing people out of helicopters is thus an analogy for the frustration commonly felt when trying to be reasonable with these bad faith actors.
Third, it recognizes that they have declared war on normals and must be defeated.
Fourth, it’s funny, and SJWs are the most humorless prigs in existence, and the way they go nuts in response makes it an order of magnitude funnier.
TL;DR: this meme has a lot of impact ;)
Remember the guy getting assaulted with a steel asp and his knockout counter punch?
False Flag probabilities are rising.
No doubt, but I did go out to lunch with my elder boy today.
“Globalist, it should be noted, is often a code word for Jewish on right-wing social media.”
No, globalist just means globalist.
Among others, it’s a triple-soy lattendre ;)
