I agree. They want Kavanaugh to admit to something he didn’t do. That might be tough to backtrack on. Even if Kavanaugh gets confirmed,this circus gives the next potential candidate an indication of what he’s in for & might dissuade him from even trying. Whereas a Democrat nominee might be dirty as can be & still get pushed right through.
