There are two Safeway locations in in mid 1980s that might be correct: Potomac Village and Potomac Village Farmers Market. I lived a mile from the latter.

Both locations had only one entrance though

I grew up in Bethesda and my grandmother lived in Chevy Chase. I literally never went to Potomac Village shopping center. The only time I would ever go near it was on the way to Great Falls, and would normally take McArthur Blvd not River Road route.

People in Beth/CC area just didn’t go out to Potomac. I doubt she ever went there.

And if Judge worked at that store, he had to have lived out that way, which would make his presence at a house near Columbia CC even less likely. I’m sure he testified about it to the FBI, and clearly there was no corroboration on any encounter w/ FreakJob b/c if there was Senate Dims would have leaked it.
