I don’t understand any of this but Windows continues to bother me with a new update that must have come out sometime around Thanksgiving.

It continues to remind me almost daily and gives me the option of choosing another time for the installation up to 3 days later, which I continue to take. The update says it will “take quite a while” and doesn’t tell me what it entails.

I don’t know what to do about it.

Oh dear. Which update? You can tell by clicking on Settings / Windows Update / Update History. If it’s 1703, that’s the one we’re talking about.

I think your update is the same one that is bugging my system
November 30, 2017—KB4051963 (OS Build 16299.98)
That is the one that failed to install on my Windows 10 PC..it actually downloaded fully, rebooted, but then said that the update failed..I tried checking for updates hoping it would try to install again but says “No new updates”
What’s weird is that this update says its for AMD64..my PC is NOT AMD, its Intel so not sure why it even downloaded this update
