My guess is that, in addition to the usual torrent of issues and decisions that Attorney General Sessions has to deal with, he his handful of allies in the DOJ are lining up credible and trustworthy special prosecutors to look into the long list of Democratic scandals. The goal will be to have a group of them ready to hit the ground running as soon as they are named. That requires that every special prosecutor file disclosure paperwork, get ethics clearance, unload their legal practice or put it on hold, and have deputies and key support staff lined up

There are more stalwart conservative lawyers than you may realize, with some even having experience working in the DOJ and on the staff of special prosecutors.
