On Thursday, President Donald Trump announced that the U.S. would withdraw from the Paris climate agreement
The world is "laughing at the president of the United States, who clearly doesn't know what he's talking about," former U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry told CNN... "I would ask, does he think Xi, Macron, May, and Merkel, don't know? Are they stupid? Is he accusing them of joining on the hoax?". "This is one of the most cynical and frankly ignorant and dangerous, self-destructive steps that I've seen, ever, ever, ever in my entire lifetime and in public life," said the frantic, previous Sec. of State.

Since when did DJT ever care whether people were laughing? The world was laughing at your stupidity the past 4 years Lurch...
For 30 years these asshats have been claiming the end of the world within 5 years...still waiting.
Okay, would I rather have my great-grandchildren living in a world with an immiserated US and a nuclear Iran, or in world that is 0.0172 degrees F warmer with a prosperous US and a free and peaceful Iran?
And only 0.0172 if I grant you your delusions about the effectiveness of U.S. participation in the Paris accord.
Kerry is the moron here. Of course, all the European leaders are angry because good old Uncle Sap was supposed to shovel money into their coffers for climate remedies. They have done nothing for the planet but import tons of third worlders who will increase pollution in all their countries and will strain the environment in Europe. The danger of living under Sharia law is much more pressing than CO2 emissions, but they pretend to be ignorant of that fact.
Very true. Nuclear would be and is a solution if you were really concerned about CO2 emissions and particulate release from burning fossil fuels. As you point out the Left has always opposed nuclear. Mario Cuomo in NY forced the dismantling of a complete nuclear plant on Long Island and now his son Andrew is forcing the closing of the Indian Point nuclear plant which supplies 25% of the electricity for NYC. The Cuomos have a primordial fear of nuclear power.
Nuclear power would of course be very beneficial for heavily polluted China and India. In fact both announced big nuclear ambitions. Ten years ago the Chinese announced that they intended to build and operate over 100 new nuclear plants. Thus far no new plants have opened. For China it is not a capital shortage. The big bottleneck is a lack of trained and experienced personnel. Such people cannot be produced easily. The US has over sixty years experience with nuclear power and its military are constantly training people in this field. No doubt China also has its own paranoid versions of Cuomo in leadership positions.
The bottom line is that there are no real “green power “ solutions available anywhere that could provide widespread reliable cheap electricity. Without reliable cheap electricity there is misery, poverty and political instability. China and India will burn whatever necessary to avoid grinding poverty. Kerry and Obama chose to overlook this fundamental fact. Trump was right to scrap the flawed Paris accords. Impoverishing the US would not solve the pollution problems in India, China and the third world.
Title should read:
Kerry: World relieved you and your boss are no longer in power to inflict more damage...
Yes it does! A graphic and a little text can say a lot.
My husband is a retired scientist (PhD) who worked in the climate field for a contractor supporting the federal government. The honest scientists are bullied with the threat of job loss if they don’t go along with the climate change hoax. These firms are showered with TONS of money if they play the game.
It’s hard for the good ones to make a public case if they want to feed their families, get promotions, etc.
