I guess if you could figure out what one of those chemical powders are, and you were able to engineer the parts...sure. I am not a mechanical engineer so I have no idea if it would work.

Might be able to help a bit... Lithium Aluminum Hydride is a very powerful and reactive reducing agent used in organic synthesis. So reactive, that it comes in a steel can, double wrapped in plastic, with a desiccant, all packed in nitrogen. It explodes on contact with water, is always handled in anhydrous environments, and is also pretty expensive stuff, not exactly an Esbit fuel tablet. Place it in proximity with a suitable reductant (iron oxide etc) in a tight container and it would have enough oomph to be considered a small bomb. That said, I think Rossi's a fraud. He was supposed to own the planet and rule it from his fortress of solitude at the north pole six or seven years ago according to his fanboys. As noted above, getting a patent really doesn't mean jack until you can prove it works without all the sleight of hand and stagecraft Rossi is known for.
