Hey, in other news recently, a kid hacked a car’s CAN module using $15 worth of electronics.
Hope everyone was smart to NOT have a car with a “parking assist” or “autoparking” feature.
[Basically a remote steering invite there...and a feature that Mr. Hastings had on his vehicle.]
Mr. O’Keefe should have LOTS of people around him at all times.

I was just re-studying the Hastings case.
What a horrible thing, that one can remote control someone else’s car from the parallel parking aid. I thought that was a cool invention, but I can parallel park a huge car perfectly so I don’t need that.
