I watched as my parish was taken over by left-wing lunatics. The fags moved in, but didn't reform. (I have no problem with homosexuals going to church, as it should set them on a godly path.) Slowly, more and more leftist started appearing. They warped bible studies. The took over boards. The last board I was on was to hire a priest as a youth minister. I was out numbered. They hired a divorced priest who's major alignment with youth was that he played video games. The first mass he attended, he brought his former wife. He introduced her and said that the kids would see a lot of him and her together. That was not the example that I wanted presented to my children at that time. Then came the 9/11 thing, and that ended my relationship with the Church.
I now mostly go to Catholic church, as I was very much a catholic (lower-case 'c') Episcopalian. I have not yet converted.
