I agree with your assessment, however congressional INVESTIGATIVE hearings are designed to uncover probative evidence by putting key actors under oath with the threat of perjury and/or contempt hanging over their heads.

I agree but some one must be willing to start the ball rolling, I do not believe any investigation happens with out some or maybe a lot of pressure, depending on who and what the investigation is all about.

I sure would not want to be the one who started an investigation on any of the democrats at the top.
