Yes, I did notice that. I had read years ago that the woman in the compromising images was not Stanley Ann Dunham, and so why this issue persists is a mystery to me, but these things seem to happen.

Happens because it serves a purpose. Happens because if Stanley Ann Dunham is seen as a slut who posed for erotic images then it's a lot easier to convince the public she would have been promiscuous as a teenager just out of high school and chased negro men. And if that falls apart, then there's always Frank Marshall Davis to fall back on. It works because it stops you from looking for what really was going on. It stops you from noticing that there's no physcial evidence of her presence in Hawaii until 1963.
