I hear people invoking the Supreme Court and the Justice Department over this but I don’t know of any legal authority they have to challenge the sitting POTUS’s legality to serve.
As you say, even if the “smoking gun” were found there’s little to nothing that would come of it. Not that I like that but it’s just the reality of it. Is CNN or MSNBC or any other major media outlet going to go full 24/7 hair on fire if it were to happen? No. I really can’t put much stock in the birther thing because regardless of what they might be able to provide it won’t result in anything. Hate it, but....
Since Soetoro is occupying the WH, the only orderly process to remove him is impeachment and trial.
Then he must be arrested and tried for fraud and other crimes. Can a non-citizen be tried for treason?
