“...why would a speech made in 2008 all of sudden appear a few weeks before CCP news conference?”
Psyops to get us spun up by unsubstantiated tales from a man who wouldn’t survive vetting?
Near the end of the 1.5 hr. video when Shrimpton is taking questions from the 80-yr-olds the moderator instructs them to come to the mike because their annual meeting is being broadcast live on the internet. So this whole video was available live in Feb 2008.
Shrimpton reminds me a lot of Wayne Madsen who was the first to claim that Stanley Ann was refused passage from Kenya back to the US due to her advanced pregnancy while having a beach vacation in Mombasa, IIRC.
Madsen also makes a lot of wild claims that he says come from intelligence sources and conveniently can’t be traced.

OK, now that is what has got me bugged... this thing was broadcast on the net and NOBODY picked up on it? ????!!!!!????
NOBODY???!!!???
Even to go over it and try and figure out if the guy had any bona fides (which he does)
and whether it is verifiable (which is hard, given the “can neither confirm nor deny”) ????
(Steam coming out ears...)
