Beginning Saturday, the FOX network will air a number of animated shows that contain sexually explicit and profanity-laced content never before shown on network television during its Animation Domination High-Def (ADHD) programming block.
The X-rated cartoons, some of which feature full frontal nudity and cartoon characters engaging in sexual activity, are modeled after Cartoon Networks Adult Swim and will also be available on the internet.
FOX Entertainment Chairman Kevin Reilly stated in an interview with Daily Variety that Id like to find the next Family Guy out of this block.
But The Parents Television Council (PTC) strongly denounced the programming. FOXs ADHD promises to feature intensely graphic, ultra-violent, sexually explicit, and profanity-laden cartoons.

Don’t worry. Rupert Murdoch has always been a devout Christian and devoted husband in his personal life. I’m sure he will put a stop to this filthy show once he finds out about it.
I’m glad I stopped watching cartoons when I was a kid.
They are making a huge blunder.
Adult Swim was a sleeper hit, because it aired very late at night targeting college age viewers. Several of their shows used a combination of slow-tempo primitive animation and surrealism, like “Sealab 2021”, which was only possible because the Hanna-Barbera library had been purchased by TBS, which allowed Cartoon Network full access for pennies.
The Cartoon Network also gave free reign to up and coming animators, rebroadcast Japanese anime, cut a lot of corners and cranked out a large number of hits.
So, between 1-4am, with an inebriated college audience, it was hilarious. Any other time of day and it would have flopped.
Importantly, Adult Swim also rode on the back of the hugely popular and innovative Cartoon Network, that itself created hit after hit with daytime shows like Cartoon Cartoon.
They have been airing sexually explicit cartoons on Adult Swim, on Cartoon Network, in the middle of the night, for as long as I can remember. Where y’all been?
Aside from TV, music and movies, there’s nothing left except videogames and books. And midnight fantasies, of course. You don’t need any software or hardware to play that cool game.
Music is part of the Human Condition. We NEED music. It’s hardwired into our souls.
If this is true I want to see FOX News executives and anyone else involved laid out and disemboweled. The production crews can tape that and air it during ultra-violence hour.
I’ve seen one of the shows: Axe Cop.
It’s Very Adult Swim-ish like Seaquest, not quite as good as Robot Chicken. I couldn’t finish the episode. Hopped up kids will probably like it.
Seemed like typical TV fare for ‘young adults’.
I’ve been curious to see what Axe Cop would look like fully animated having been aware of the web comic for some time now.
The story is written by a 5 year old and drawn by his 29 year old brother.
i thought all the dinosaurs died?
i grew up on a healthy dose of Johnny Quest, Bugs Bunny and Mayberry RFD- in reaching 50, I've felt no inclination to be a homo, commie or otherwise.
You comment is assinine and intentionally merant to shock- leading me to think your a troll. In my 12 years here on FR..not including several years lurking, this is by far the stupidest comment yet.
did you ever stop to think the printed press (which is the only thing left youre left to digest)is also liberal?
