Although B37 was one of the initial not guilty votes herself, her own statements to Anderson Cooper actually make the case for manslaughter.
"George Zimmerman is guilty of not using good judgment," she told Cooper....
This guy is either an idiot, or is manipulating the facts to suit his agenda (p*ss-poorly, I'd add - so maybe I'm being redundant with those two options).
Self-defense is an absolute rationale for use of deadly force. There's NO evidence that Zimmerman initiated the physical altercation, and it's easy to conclude that it was Martin who really threw the first punch.
Zimmerman being out of his vehicle, following and observing Martin (which is the grounds this guy seems to be citing) is not illegal. It gave Martin ZERO standing for coming back at Zimmerman physically.
So in the absence of any evidence of who threw the first punch, or that Zimmerman was behaving in an illegal manner that provoked the physical phase of the confrontation, the determination MUST be made based on the situation when Zimmerman pulled his gun out and shot Martin.
The evidence CLEARLY demonstrates that Martin was on top pummeling Zimmerman in a manner consistent with creating fear of great bodily harm and/or death.
That's grounds for lethal use of force for self-defense. Open/Shut.

By this boneheads logic, Zimmerman was guilty of escalating the situation because he exercised his RIGHT to carry a gun.

Could they even call the jurors to testify at a theoretical federal civil rights trial or civil suit? They didn’t witness the shooting any more than I did.
