Actually, that is indeed the sentiment across the pond. While they are grateful for our participation, they are of the firm belief that by the time we joined the party they had already done all the heavy lifting, and that we came riding in at the end and claimed the glory. They truly do believe that.

I suspect they need not worry that we will save them a third time. They really are no longer worth saving, if they ever were.
