” I’d have been a rank hypocrite had I voted differently.”

Not really, you play the cards you’re dealt. Removing yourself from the game is a failure to do your civic and biblical duty.

Folks who know me know I’ve spent 6 years railing against his candidacy in the most prominent way on this website. Knowing him as well as I do (going back 18 years), it was not worth losing my credibility and my conscience and toss it all out the window to vote for someone I could not defend.

I am a Conservative first and foremost. I do not vote for whatever Republican candidate is coughed up. And just as an aside, this was the first time in 20 years since I was able to vote that I did not vote for the party nominee for President.

I stated my conclusion months ago that both the major party nominees were unacceptable for the most powerful office on the planet. I voted for the person whom I thought was best of those running, and being in a heavily GOP state, my vote will not help Zero in any way. If folks can’t deal with that, that’s their problem.
