After reading his background, I’m not surprised. This is obviously one who slipped through the checks before being hired. The “dating” website was way out of the mainstream for someone wanting to be a police officer. If the department didn’t know about this, shame on them. But, this is Philly.

He was an affirmative action hire...these kinds of incidents are regularly brushed under the rug to protect them, and to keep minority employee numbers high. If not for the video, nothing would have happened to the pig...especially given that he was a LT on the force (how many better qualified other officers weren't promoted just so he could be because of his skin color???)

His background was well known and had NOTHING to do with his firing.

He will be lucky to escape criminal charges.
