You can call it great rebellion though it;s the first time I’ve ever heard it called that though I have never been out in CA and had your CA education but we call it many things and we here sitting here by the pool , having a few drinks, quite a few and having a laugh call it war for southern independance .
Asked already but you have not stated it yet.
Can you show me please where it states in the constitution a state has ot be forced to stay within the union please and also where the feds have a right to raise and army and invade those states.
Thank you.
BTW What do you do for fun out in CA at this time on a Saturday night?
Not as much as states rights being infringed on by the Federal Government.
the great rebellion, did you think of that yourself
Good job you are out in la la land CA and not living here as you would be very unhappy here in the south, facing people and going on as you do.
just read your profile page and you don’t half like to talk about yourself don;t you.
You think the war on drugs is unconstitutional and illegal but you argue for Lincoln locking up those who use free speech, and states which want indepedance then you harp on about you don’t know when life begins.
You couldn’t even make this up.
Have another bong
Of course the war on some drugs is unconstitutional. When they did it legally, they passed a constitutional amendment. It was a bad idea, and the amendment was repealed.
Short answer: Medicine is not one of the constitutional powers granted to the fed government. Accordingly, it should be regulated by the states. That appears to be Paul Ryan’s position too.
Tonight I celebrated a birthday with my children. Cake, candles, and the happy birthday song.
The Great Rebellion was the official name of the event. So sorry that your education didn’t cover that.
You read my profile page, and complained both that I mention myself and that I mention other things than myself.
Seems you need to get a life. Good luck with that.

Just because I am all about helping the less fortunate improve themselves.....
Odd that you care to drag in abortion into this thread, but you do have a non sequitur on polygamy in your signature line.
"The judicial Power shall extend to all Cases, in Law and Equity, arising under this Constitution, the Laws of the United States, and Treaties made, or which shall be made, under their Authority;to all Cases affecting Ambassadors, other public Ministers and Consuls;to all Cases of admiralty and maritime Jurisdiction; to Controversies to which the United States shall be a Party;to Controversies between two or more States; between a State and Citizens of another State;between Citizens of different States;between Citizens of the same State claiming Lands under Grants of different States, and between a State, or the Citizens thereof, and foreign States, Citizens or Subjects."
I need to get a life, are you serious?
like I said you can;t even make it up with you and yes you dont even know when life started but you argue this and ten you think the feds war on drugs is illegal
WOW
you’ve done too many drugs or on to many
The states’ rights issue with the federal war on some drugs is much stronger than the assertions to state right to unilateral secession at pleasure.
Odd that your notions of states rights ends with the rights that states don’t have, and doesn’t assert their right where they do have rights.
ref your last line.
no not really
No, I don’t use any drugs other than legal ethanol once a month or so.
But my spelling is better than yours.
I lived near Houstin (Austin County, Texas) for 4 years, providing technical expertise that was hard to find for the locals. Enjoyed it extremely. Even bought a ‘barbeque gun’ for the social events. The local (R) party seemed to think of me as a stalwart, and invited me to their functions. I even got invited to teach a few classes at the local University.
I admitted right away that I was a Yankee, being born in Oklahoma. Where I lived they called the crowd up in Dallas ‘Yankees’.
Course, if I lived in Gainesville, I might have had trouble.

FYI the Mendoza Chop is when you counter a left jab with a strike against the left forearm with your left. When delivered hard it can damage your opponents left arm. The risk is of course a straight right coming when when your left is occupied. Mendoza was a 5 foot 7 160 lb Spanish Jew who taught boxing in London, and held the English heavyweight championship for 3 years, 1792 to 1795. He invented much of modern boxing techniques.
Weather is better in CA. Less rain, less humidity, no constant battle with fire ants.
DUH, no one calls it that, you teach inn the ring not the books
