You know Tamzee, I was a little curious about you because I’ve been really active on Mormonism threads since 2004 and I didn’t recall seeing you post on them before a few days ago, so I checked your posting history and found a two year absence and that you’ve recently returned to FR. Have you been on a Mormon mission by any chance?

I was confused by your "two year absence" so checked my posting history. You are looking at articles posted which I do rarely. There was no two year gap in my commenting history, but there are a few months here and there where I posted more often on my state forum instead. I almost stopped entirely during the primaries when everyone fractured over our best conservative candidates and they kept going down in flames :-( The result, Mitt Romney.... yech.

No, I am not a Mormon. I am blessed to be able to call myself a born again Christian. I did meet two Mormons who came to my door about 15 years ago. I thanked them for sincerely caring about the state of my soul, told them it was utterly impossible that I would ever believe their faith and sent them on their way.

I may be the only person here never visited by Mormon "Missionaries", I feel so,so left out. Plenty of J.W.s in my time but no Mormons. I'd treat them politely just as I do the J.W.s but have no interest in listening to their spiel.
