“The threat is usually more terrifying than the thing itself.”

I don’t know, I thought Obama would be bad, real bad, but he is even worse than I thoguth he would be.

I look around my area and my state and I see utter devistation and we are better off than much of the country. My City is more than solvent, the state has a lower than average unemployment rate and a rainy day fund. Thanks to the new Republican Governanace.

Yet, so many closed businesses, so many long term unemployed, so many forclosures, so man empty stores and restyaurants. I took my family to a local inexpensive restaurant today. Normally it is packed. Very little going on at 6pm. Waitress said business is getting worse and worse. very nervous. fewer and fewer customers comming in every week.

I live in a very nice community, solid middle to upper middle class one that never has any forclosures, yet now, and for seeveral years, there are dozens all the time.

Every forclosure, every lay off, every lost job oprotunity, every closed business is another family that is in trouble, another loss of hope, another serious blow to society.

Obama has been bad, his reality has been much worse than his threat.

Exactly. And in good conscience, I cannot agree with the badness is over-exaggerated, mere threats, or hyperbole. It's real, it's evil, and he's destroying our country.

As I recall, by this time with Obama in power there weren't going to be elections any more so we *had* to support McCain. It's bad. I won't make little of it. But look how our numbers in the House have grown. Look how close we are to taking the Senate. Look at my own Governor Walker surviving an effort of historic proportions to take his office away. Look at the Tea Party crowds compared to the Occupy crowds. Like the 911 attack on the Twin Towers, the Obama presidency has united grass roots America. We want our country back and by gosh we're taking it. If we throw Romney in the middle of our ranks, a circular firing squad ensues and we lose our target. Now is not the time to trade their liberal president for our liberal president. Now is the time to continue the full court press and wipe out the infrastructure established by the internationalists, socialists, and statists in our midst. Handing the Executive Office to a statist is no way to accomplish that goal.
