Your JC took the seven or the whole 613 and turned them into one or two, doesn’t matter you are still righteous as long as you follow them. You get a share in the world to come automatically. Totally cool for you to believe in JC.
***Great to hear it. But Jesus says, “I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life. No man comes to the Father but through Me.” So, as you say, it’s totally cool for us to believe in JC. Now you need to step up to the plate because unless you’re super-duper-spiritual, you cannot meet those 613. And if someone as puny spiritually as I am can detect such dishonesty on your part, there’s no way you’re super-duper-spiritual before God and you need a savior.

But what about Jews born Jews but become Christians? They still have their share — but they forfeit their super Jew awesome share because they broke the covenant with G-d.
***Every normal human breaks the covenant with G-d.

And G-d doesn’t like that very much, so he’ll just keep punishing all of us because of our low retention rate
....

So Jews we believe we all get this auto-upload to the afterlife. Therefore, saying you are worried about our souls means nothing to us. You’re talking Greek.
***It’s true, everyone gets an auto-upload to eternity. But whether you get to spend that eternity with God is a choice you make here. The standard for getting in on your own efforts is quite high: You break one of those laws, you don’t get in. But if you accept Jesus as Christ & God, He basically says the cost has been paid by His own blood, and you’re in.

And because we get this auto-upload, we don’t have to worry about the afterlife — it’s taken care of.
***No, it isn’t.

What we have to worry about is the stuff we do in THIS life. Death is not happy for us. Death is the end of G-d’s greatest gift. Life is way, way, way more important.
***Interesting stuff, but not pertinent.

Kevmo:
And the link you provided doesn’t really answer the question.

SF:
Yes it does. When you hack it all up, it isn’t going to make much sense. Read the whole.
***I showed you that I read that Messiah section, and I commented on it. There are some very severe critical thinking errors in the logic presented. When you look at the stuff with those errors removed, you’re absolutely right, it does not make sense. And it won’t make sense, because your position is in error.

The Mashiach is not G-d to us. He’ll be a mortal man. You’ll think he is the second coming of JC, we’ll know him as Mashiach. What does it matter?
***If Jesus is not God, and we’ve been worshipping Him as God, then we would have been committing blasphemy. How can this Messiah be the second coming of Jesus and NOT be God? Only God has the power to live a human life 2000 years ago and then come back so many years later.

It will be a great thing regardless.
***Yet, if you die before it happens your soul may be forfeit.

Kevmo:
I could provide you with links that require you to spend 8 hours reading, as well.

SF:
No thanks!
***Then don’t do it to me.

You need to understand that when you even attempt to convert an observant Jew without knowing a thing about Judaism, it is like you bringing a knife to a fight with a F-18.
***One of the weapons you lack in your quiver is honesty. I doubt an observant, dishonest jew can be converted, so I’m only willing to put in about as much effort as a knife-fighter versus an F18. There are others willing to put in more effort, so I’ll let them chime in all they want.

Get yourself educated — it doesn’t harm your faith.
***According to the links you have posted, I have already read most if not all of the Torah. I’m educated enough to have gotten you this far. It is not education that holds you back from spiritual life, it is a hard heart. So I’ll pray for you.

Again, we Jews do not recruit outside of our faith.
***My understanding is that the jews were called to be a light unto the gentiles and they have neglected this duty. You make it sound like it’s a good thing.

We’re perfectly happy with you all being Christians or Mormons or Catholics or Baptists or Seventh Day Adventists.
***I do not think you understand your own scriptures when you say such a thing.

Pascal’s wager would say...

There isn’t any logic — you either believe the Torah is the Word of G-d, or you don’t.
***That is using logic. So, you like logic if it says what you want it to say, but you turn around and say there isn’t any logic (or basically that you don’t like logic) when it generates what you don’t want it to say.
