You’re not a bigot? How do you really feel about people whose faith requires them to not lend any support to a polytheist, regardless of the social price they might have to pay to remain faithful to that conviction? Would you have them violate their conscience and their deeply held religious beliefs, just so you could have the political outcome you want? Do you realize that calling them bigots, when they are doing no more than obeying Christ, may itself be an act of bigotry? Do you deny that you resent them for their religious views regarding nonsupport of polytheists? Is not such irrational resentment, with no attempt to bridge the gap of understanding, the very essence of bigotry?
