From the 04/11/08 article in the Kenyan newspaper “The Standard”:

“Obama Snr —Index No 3422— joined the school with his elder brother, Joseph, who left in 1951 for unexplained reasons.”

The reporter, John Oywa, does not attribute this aside comment about a brother Joseph in the article to Mr. Mangla Okanda or anyone else, as it is not in quotes. Oywa quotes several people in the article NONE of whom claim to have had personal memory of BHO Sr. or his alleged brother. No index card number is given for the brother.

Mr. Paul Otula was the current principal and he is reported as telling the reporter (not quoted) that BHO Sr. went straight to the US from Maseno, which would expunge Sr.’s year in Mombasa c 1953-54 and all of Sr.’s time in Nairobi from 1954 to 1959 where he met and married Kezia and fathered two children all of which is the cross-corroborated evidence from multiple documents, pictures and witnesses.

Against the solid evidence that BHO Sr had NO older brother and did NOT leave directly from Maseno to the US we have a hearsay non-quote from a non-witness principal 55 years after the fact.

No competent forensic investigator would give any weight to any non-corroborated information in this article.

Another example of reporters getting things mixed up.

Omar, yusuf, and a couple full siblings of theirs are from Obama SR ‘s dad’s OTHER wife.

From the article:

"The head teachers that time were very mean with information. they condensed a student's four-year record in a smal piece of paper," says Okanda.

Inside the safe is a small cabinet with drawers that contain the documents.

Okanda removes a brown card from one of them. "This one belonged to Barack Obama Sr. He joined the school in 1950 and left in 1953," he explains.

Any competent forensic investigator would know how to read and not make ignorant false claims about a principal being interviewed!

According to statements made by Barack Obama in June of 1962, he had been away from Kenya for seven years. That would be 1955.
