Thank y’all for your sensible comments-much of what I see on this thread is the sort of condemnation without evidence that we scold leftists for. If I may add my comments to yours:
I have no liking for most of the Kennedys, but-this man is a Kennedy-so what? He works for a living, is apparently a family man, and I’ve never seen/heard that he abuses drugs or alcohol, or is a bully of any sort. Calling his wife ugly, commenting on her age, speculating that he was drunk, etc seems mean-spirited, and doesn’t have anything to do with the incident. Insisting that he be fired from his job over unproven allegations is uncalled for-it is the kind of thing we condemn liberals for doing.
Babies belong to parents, not the staff of the facilities where they happen to be born. I’m pretty sure the hospital personnel knew who the father of that baby was, and may have acted as they did to get attention, for all we know-society has become so litigious in recent years that everyone is vulnerable to a lawsuit, especially if they have money.
I haven’t always worked in construction-I was a casemanager for many years, until I became totally sick of it. I went to work for the state and stayed for almost 9 of those years before going to a private company-I’ve been in the belly of the beast, so to speak-I’m definately not Pollyanna, and I’ve seen more than one video rigged for future litigation.
My family is an old one in what is now Texas-over 250 years-but just common ranchers, and no money. The family has had a reputation for having a “wild streak” and being downright dangerous-when I was a small child, I heard of a great-uncle killing his wife’s lover and not serving a day in jail, and beating his wife so badly he broke her arm and ran her over with his truck. Several of my cousins were involved in similar insanity. That does not mean that the rest of us are dangerous and mean. If we are to be fair, people should be judged by their own (proven) deeds, not those of others from the same family.
Very well said, Texan5.
